Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (First Church).

Dedication services will be held Sunday morning and evening for the new building of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Edmonton, located at 108 Street and 100 Avenue.

The history of the church in Edmonton dates back to 1904, when two city families laid the foundations. They began to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and met informally at home to read the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly.
