JEWELED MOMENTS

There are moments when illusion,
with its fine-spun subtlety,
weaves an evil-patterned fabric
on the loom of apathy.

Moments rich with healing's fragrance
bid unlovely thoughts depart
as pure wells of love, deep-flowing,
transform wastelands of the heart.

There are quiet, listening moments
wrapped in God's omnipotence;
angel hosts encamping round us
rise unseen in our defense.

Lamps of Science, trimmed and burning,
glow with proof of Truth's all-power.
Precious are these jeweled moments
filling every light-crowned hour.
