Mansfield, Ohio (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Mansfield, Marion Avenue and Wood Street, was dedicated Sunday, November 22, when two services were held, one at 11 o'clock in the morning and another at 3.30 in the afternoon.

A brief history of the growth of the church was read. In December of 1899, a group of Christian Scientists met at College Place, and decided to organize a society with the view of establishing a Church of Christ, Scientist. Following the organization, this group on January 17, 1900, was recognized as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
