GUIDANCE

When I grow quiet, waiting for Love's voice,
Contending not against the offending rod,
But ever knowing that I can rejoice
In the omnipotence and peace of God,

The answer comes: I hear Truth's ringing Word,
A clear insistence on the rightful part.
Again I prove Love's voice is always heard
Within the stillness of a listening heart.
