Christian Science has been in our family for as long as I can remember. However, I did not realize what a precious jewel it is until I left my home, family, and friends and went two thousand miles away to live. Then I had to put Science into practice for myself. A new home was established, and I learned to lean upon God, who indeed has been Father and Mother to me.

I have experienced many healings in Christian Science. The day before final examinations in college I manifested all the obvious symptoms of the measles. Through my own understanding and the reading of a Sentinel I was completely healed within a few hours. I have been healed of tonsillitis and have overcome irritability, inability to get along with others, extreme sensitiveness, and many other erroneous conditions. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 522), "Existence, separate from divinity, Science explains as impossible." Through that statement and the clear realization of man's at-one-ment with God I have been healed of various chronic physical disorders.

I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her clear interpretation of Jesus' teaching. I am also grateful for the spiritual foundation given me in a Christian Science Sunday School and for the privilege of class instruction, which has enabled me to discern more clearly man's true relationship to God.—(Miss) Alice Lewis Kewley, Chicago, Illinois.
