TIME TO AWAKE

It is time, Paul said,
To awake out of sleep.

It is time to awake
To the glory of God,
To the beauty of holiness,
The comfort of Christ.

It is time to awake
To God's largess of health,
To immortal seeing,
Eternal hearing.

It is time to awake
To Mind's limitless riches,
To the substance of Spirit,
The bounty of Love.

Awake then, my glory,
Out of darkness and dreaming.
Shake off fetters of seeming;
Be alive and rejoice in the infinite All!
