So many blessings have come into my life through the study of Christian Science that I cannot find words adequately to express gratitude for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave this new-old truth to the world.

In trusting the power of Truth and relying on God alone, our family of four has been amply rewarded with health, protection, and supply. Through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner childbirth was a happy and harmonious experience. The children have been protected or quickly freed from contagious diseases prevalent in the neighborhood. A few of the healings for which we are most grateful include those of influenza, abscessed teeth, whooping cough, neuralgia, and tonsillitis.

When using the oven method for canning fruit, I removed a jar from the oven and placed it in the sink, where it immediately exploded. The impact of the broken jar on my face flattened my nose and left two wounds, which bled profusely. A practitioner was called immediately, and the bleeding soon stopped. Within two weeks all discoloration disappeared and the wounds were healed, leaving no scars or blemishes. For this proof of God's power and presence in time of need, I am most grateful.
