A few years ago I turned to Christian Science for help in healing a severe tumorous condition. I had gone from one physician to another for six months without getting relief. Although on my first visit to a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of the smoking habit, the healing of the tumor was slow; and after several months I dismissed the practitioner and again consulted a physician. It did not take me long to realize that my help would not come from that source, and after a few days spent in studying the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, as well as reading The Christian Science Journal and other authorized literature, I asked for help from another Christian Science practitioner.

The very next day, while I was reading an article in the Journal, the room in which I was sitting seemed to become illuminated, and I felt God's love all around. The reality of God, good, and the nothingness of sin, disease, and death were made evident to my consciousness; and I knew that I was well. Later all evidence of the tumor left me.

As I have studied and applied the truths of our beautiful religion I have been healed of many false traits of character. To know God better and express gratitude for all that He has done for us by giving Christ Jesus and Christian Science to the world is my heartfelt desire.
