I wish to express my love and gratitude to God for our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who interpreted Jesus' wonderful teachings, and to tell of a healing I experienced some time ago. I was suddenly seized with a malady that affected my back and legs. There was a great deal of pain, and I could not lift myself.

A Christian Science practitioner who had helped me many times before was called. My family was very much concerned and thought that I should go to a hospital. I told the practitioner about my family's fears, and she suggested that I have a Christian Science nurse come and help me, and I did.
