For many years I have experienced constant protection and guidance through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. Obstacles and problems have been overcome through my endeavor to understand man's relationship to God and through confidence in God's goodness. Help in Christian Science enabled me to find a good position at a time when work was most difficult to get.

I have had many physical healings, important among which is complete freedom from what had become a fixed routine of chronic seasonal colds. This freedom has for many years brought thanksgiving for the self-sacrificing work done by Mary Baker Eddy to make Christian Science, the pearl of great price, available to us.

I am profoundly grateful for the protection from fear and harm, as well as from making unwise decisions, that I have experienced over the years in business and in social relations. An example of this protection was the complete harmony of an intercontinental trip of some four weeks' duration, made entirely by air on a close schedule worked out many weeks in advance. I had the loving help of a practitioner in protecting the purpose and ensuring the accomplishment of this trip. Travel agents along the way declared it impossible to adhere to the set schedule, predicting among other difficulties delays of as much as a week because of weather conditions. I experienced only one delay, and it was for but three hours.
