With happiness and gratitude in my heart I write this testimony to tell of a wonderful healing I experienced in Christian Science.

Some time ago I was putting some pots and pans into a low cupboard. As I leaned over, my back suddenly felt as though something had snapped out of place. Immediately the pain was so intense that I could hardly walk to a chair. The painful condition continued throughout the day and that night.

In the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, we are told (p. 600), "Thousands of letters could be presented in testimony of the healing efficacy of Christian Science and particularly concerning the vast number of people who have been reformed and healed through the perusal or study of this book." On the day following the injury, as I was reading the textbook, this passage stood out to me (p. 207): "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause." I realized the truth of these words, and suddenly I felt very peaceful and calm.
