Most parents would prefer their children's education to have a grounding in religion—in the Christian religion.

Have we not a right to expert the school to play a major part in the process...? Yes! The schools have a responsibility. First, to enable their children to believe with understanding, to equip them with the knowledge on which a faith can be founded. Religious knowledge is not religion. There can be a wide gap between knowledge and faith.
