HOME—"THE DEAREST SPOT ON EARTH"
One can never mistake a person with, a happy home; it shows in his actions. Likewise, a disturbed home shows forth in a person's outlook. Considered from the spiritual viewpoint, home is a lovely, perfect idea, expressing peace, security, love, understanding, neighborliness, co-operation, orderliness. God, being the center of the real man's existence, gives the spiritual ideas which constitute true home.
By constantly turning to this source one can become a dweller in a happy home, and his life cannot but show forth this blessing. For as one fills his consciousness with spiritual ideas, so that it radiates true beauty, his human home outwardly expresses this beauty, and he enjoys an atmosphere of peace and serenity which blesses not only himself but all those around him. One's surroundings become more colorful, expressing the joy he feels; more comfortable, expressing the calmness of his thinking.
Just as a child when in difficulty instinctively runs home, so we, whenever we are oppressed, depressed, or suppressed, can turn to our heavenly home. By routing out unrestful thoughts, such as resentment, anger, restlessness, and so on, we shall soon find that we are safe within our rightful home and find the solace and comfort we need, the wisdom and love of our Father-Mother God.
