I am humbly and joyously grateful for all the wonderful blessings that God has bestowed upon me and mine through the study of Christian Science and through the compassionate love of practitioners and friends.

Before coming into Christian Science I was a very unhappy, discordant mortal. Suffering from a serious intestinal difficulty, I had only a month to live, according to a doctor's verdict. With two weeks of that month gone, I started to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to please a friend. In four hours I was healed.

When threatened with a nervous breakdown, I went to live in the home of a Christian Scientist. Her husband had recently passed on, and her healing of grief and separation was such an inspiration to me that I returned to my own home healed and regenerated.
