It is with deep gratitude for the teachings of Christian Science, given us by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I testify to the healings it has brought me. I have been healed of a skin disease in a bad form, as well as of headaches, colds, coughs, and many other inharmonies. Some of the healings came quickly; others took longer.

When I was new in Christian Science a chip of glass lodged in my eye. As I declared the truth and went about my work the glass came away. At another time our young son stepped on a nail, which went through his shoe and pierced his foot. I picked up a Sentinel and read an article in it which cleared my thought. The boy soon put his shoe on and walked across town. There were no bad effects from the injury. This proved to me that "the word of God is quick, and powerful" (Hebr. 4:12).

I am very grateful for class instruction and for the annual association meetings, which are a real feast, also for the practitioners, who are always ready to help. The periodicals bring great comfort and inspiration. I look forward to the arrival of each issue.
