My first testimony of healing appeared in the Sentinel of September 29, 1945. I again desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which never fails us when correctly applied.

I am very grateful for all the good which has come my way as the result of my study of Science. My family and I have experienced great protection when on long motor trips. On a trip of about four thousand miles we did not even see an accident.

I am also grateful for the help I have had from Christian Science in personal relationships. In one instance I was teaching at a school where there was another teacher with whom I found it most inharmonious to work. I transferred to a different school the next year and found to my amazement that this teacher had transferred there also. Then I realized that I had not done my work in Christian Science properly at all. I began working to know that man is the expression of Love. I loved more, and in expressing love toward the other teacher I received expressions of love in return. A most harmonious and helpful relationship resulted. I have found much harmony in my home also.

While suffering from a very bad case of influenza, I began to work to know that the real man's consciousness is filled with harmony and that he is subject only to good. I very soon recovered, and there was no convalescent period. Through Christian Science I have had healings of boils, measles, mumps, skin eruptions, and other discordant conditions.

For membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for the opportunity of serving in the Sunday School I am very grateful. My gratitude is great to Mrs. Eddy for her leadership of the Christian Science movement.
