For many years I have been proving the teachings of Christian Science, as taught by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

I should like to express my gratitude and to tell of one outstanding healing among many. I caught my thumb in the wringer of an electric washing machine. Immediately I thought of "the scientific statement of being," on page 468 of our textbook, and I was able to release my hand. As the finger had been cut to the bone, I bandaged it and held to the truth of man. In a short time the pain and bleeding stopped, and I finished the washing.

I had one treatment from a Christian Science practitioner and allowed no one to examine my hand. I was able to do all the necessary work in taking care of my household, and in a very short time there was a complete healing. There is no scar where the finger was cut.
