So much good has come to me and mine through Christian Science that I cannot put off acknowledging it another day. I found this beautiful religion while searching for a better understanding of God. Once I had gained a glimpse of its truth, I knew that some day I would take part in the Cause of Christian Science, for I felt that it led on the right path.

At first I attended a Church of Christ, Scientist, only occasionally, but what I heard read from the desk satisfied my interest. As I progressed, however, I realized that it was not enough just to listen. The spiritual import of the message must be imbibed, and I must live what I was acknowledging as true if I wanted to demonstrate Christian Science in a practical way. This unfoldment led me to join The Mother Church and a branch church.

When our first child was expected, my husband was told that either the child or I could be saved, but not both. My Christian Science nurse immediately relayed this report to the practitioner who was working for me, and she said: "That's not true. God is their Life, and they live, move, and have their being in God." She then asked my husband to look for life instead of fearing death. In a short time our son was born. He was a normal, healthy baby, and both he and I did well.
