With deep gratitude for the many blessings I have received during the forty years in which I have looked to Christian Science for help and guidance I wish to give my testimony. I was attracted to this Science through the healing of a member of my family of a fibroid tumor after three doctors had declared it incurable.

When I prayed to God for a better understanding of Him and read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, many false beliefs and faults of disposition were overcome, including a tendency to be melancholy. In the years since then I have had healings of colds, influenza, blood poisoning, a broken finger, an injured back, and severe pains.

After I took up the study of Christian Science, my children were protected from so-called children's diseases during epidemics. My eldest son was healed of a hernia of fourteen years' standing when he declared that he did not need a material support, knowing that God was his support. There were numerous healings of injuries from the effects of accidents. One of the children was told not to return to school until a case of ivy poisoning was cured. Through our declaring the truth of God's good creation and Love's protection the healing was instantaneous, and the child returned to school the next day.
