I am grateful that I have known of Christian Science from childhood, for it has brought me health, happiness, and "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" (Phil. 4:7). The answer to my every problem has been found within the Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy.

I attended the Christian Science Sunday School for sixteen years. There I was taught the importance of obeying the Ten Commandments, living in accordance with the Beatitudes, and spiritually understanding the Lord's Prayer. I learned that true prayer is really right thinking. Our Master, Christ Jesus, said (Matt. 6:6), "When thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

I have had many opportunities to enter into the closet of spiritual thinking and prove the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement concerning prayer (No and Yes, p. 39), "It makes new and scientific discoveries of God, of His goodness and power." These discoveries have brought me much contentment.
