For many years I have had the blessed privilege of studying Christian Science, the demonstrable truth, which was revealed to us by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and which solves all our problems and heals all our diseases.

Constipation disappeared instantaneously through the help of a practitioner soon after I had taken up the study of Christian Science. A serious illness was healed through the work of a practitioner in one week. There was no period of convalescence, and the weight I had lost was rapidly restored. My family, who were not then interested in Christian Science, had expressed a great deal of fear, but they had complied with my request for metaphysical help instead of medical treatment. The healing was astonishing to them. When I asked the practitioner what the disease had been her reply was, "There is no need to give it a name."

At another time I had a condition similar to an ulcer on the eyeball. Because of the law at that time I had to call a doctor in order to get a certificate for my office. The pain had begun to lessen through the loving work of a practitioner, but the doctor was worried about the condition. Although no medicine was given, he asked me to return later. By the time I returned, the difficulty had begun to heal. The doctor expressed great relief at this. In one week the whole condition had cleared up.
