Some years ago the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, was placed in my hands. At that time I knew practically nothing about Christian Science and its healing power, but as I read I realized that it must be a rational and logical religion.

I liked the textbook and read it at every opportunity, but it was difficult for me to read for any length of time, as my eyes would pain me. In addition, because of poor circulation, my arms and hands would get numb from holding the book.

However, I continued to read, and within a few months I awoke to the fact that a complete healing had taken place, not only of poor eyesight and poor circulation, but also of many other conditions, including those of chronic constipation, hemorrhoids, headaches, granulated eyelids, and bronchitis that bordered on consumption and caused the loss of much weight. These healings took place over thirty years ago and have remained permanent.
