Every day we are making evaluations of things about us. Through these evaluations many things are given new and added emphasis because their value is made apparent. Other things may be laid aside because their usefulness no longer exists. Our modern society moves forward because, for the most part, we are willing to grow by our honest evaluations and our willingness to profit by our knowledge gained thereby.

Everyone ... ought to make an honest and sincere evaluation of the church of Christ Jesus among us. ... The power of God in the hearts of men is the greatest need of our day.... We owe it to ourselves, to our family and neighbors, and to our God to put the right emphasis on spiritual things.
