Just a few weeks after enrolling in a Christian Science Sunday School in 1914 I was healed of constipation, from which I had suffered for several years. I have received many other blessings through the years since then.

When my younger son was eleven years old he was struck in the eye by a BB shot discharged from another boy's slingshot. Although his eye was temporarily blinded by the wound, his first words were: "Mother, don't be cross with the boy, because he didn't mean to do it. God will want me to see, and I will." The accident occurred on Monday morning, and by Tuesday morning sight had returned to the eye. There were no further aftereffects. This son also had a beautiful healing through Christian Science of a poisonous skin condition that had covered his face. With the help of a practitioner his face was soon normal.

I have had many healings through the loving work of a Practitioner. Gallstones, streptococcic throat, influenza, and rheumatic fever were among the diseases that were healed. A pleasant assignment in my work and a happy home are among my recent blessings. When my two sons were inducted into the military service my loss seemed to be overwhelming, but prayerful help was given by a Christian Science practitioner. With the healing of the sense of separation there came greater love between the boys and me.
