Guarding Our Rights

Minnesota law provides that physical and health education shall be taught in the public schools. There is also a law which provides that the schools must maintain cumulative health records. Children may be exempt from physical examination, and also from health education courses, if the parent or legal guardian so requests in writing.

Each Christian Scientist must make his own demonstration to file the written request for exemption on behalf of his child. To safeguard our position, we should claim our rights. This Committee has been authorized to quote the following statement from The Christian Science Board of Directors:
