I shall always be grateful that I had the benefit of attending the Christian Science Sunday School for a few years when I was in Holland. While there I had a great desire to read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in its original language. Soon I was able to go to England and study the language of that country. I was then able to read all the works of Mrs. Eddy. I know that it is God's message to mankind which is revealed in these books.

Although my progress has been slow, I have been helped step by step as Truth has unfolded harmony and order. Many problems have been solved. Where there was once confusion, discouragement, fear, and failure, there is now an inner peace, strength, joy, and a great sense of our Father-Mother's loving care to sustain and maintain me in the upward path.

Late one night I was ill with influenza. I telephoned a practitioner, who said: "There is only one influence. Mind and its idea are forever one." Help was immediately received. The next morning, however, I could not get up. The practitioner worked for me again, and I went to sleep. In the evening the fever had gone, and the next day I was able to get up. The following day I was completely well. For this and many other healings I am extremely thankful.
