The greatest blessing of my life...

The greatest blessing of my life has been the privilege of studying Christian Science. Because of this study, I can say with David (II Sam. 22:2), "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer."

While attending Sunday School I was healed of eczema on my foot. As I was talking over the problem with my teacher, the fear and discomfort were dispelled, and the foot quickly manifested the proper healthy condition. Later on, when in high school, I was confronted with such a sore throat that swallowing brought tears to my eyes. Having learned in Sunday School to rely radically on God for healing, I refused to allow a doctor to be called. Instead, help was requested from a Christian Science practitioner, and I was completely free ten minutes after the practitioner arrived.

I am grateful that I had some understanding of the truths taught in Christian Science to help me through college. Because I had been correctly educated in Sunday School, I was not disturbed by the material teaching of man as mortal, of his unhappy history, and of his lack of dominion.
