I am very happy to testify to the great joy that Christian Science has brought into my life. It was for a knowledge of God that I took up the study of this Science. I wanted to know how to pray in order to feel God's presence. When I finished reading the chapter on Prayer in our textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, my heart was singing because I knew that I had found the true way of Life.

One evening I was invited to visit a friend who was a Christian Scientist. When the time arrived for me to go, I had a painful condition in one eye; so I wore an eye-shield. During our visit together my friend declared some of the truths of Christian Science. My eye was not mentioned until I was about to leave, when I said, "My eye will soon be better." Her reply was, "Your eye is better now." When I reached home I read the textbook well into the night. My eye was completely healed when I awoke in the morning.

I think one of the greatest blessings of Christian Science is that it teaches us how to take our stand on the side of Principle through knowing that Principle and its idea are one. I am very grateful for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and for her untiring faithfulness in giving her revelation to mankind.
