I began the study of Christian Science along with other members of my family while I was still in high school. The early training I received in Sunday School has been priceless to me in building a firm foundation.

Many times I have experienced the blessings mentioned in the following statement from "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy (p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment." This statement of demonstrable truth was held to during a period when my husband's work was irregular. A new car had just been purchased, and even though the pay checks were small, we were able to take care of our financial obligations as they became due.

It has been my privilege to witness healings of burns, cuts, constipation, and the effects of being gassed. I have overcome many faulty traits, such as those of selfishness, jealousy, bad temper, and a tendency to be distant toward people. Our four children are being brought up in Christian Science and are enrolled in the Sunday School. Their clear, receptive thought is a source of inspiration to me.
