DIVINE MIND'S HEALING POWER

[Of Special Interest to Children]

One of the things Terry liked best to do was to play baseball. It was great fun to wear a uniform and to be the catcher on the school team. It was fun too to take his turn at bat, and he sometimes hit the ball far enough down the field to score a home run or a base hit for the team.

On Sunday, Terry attended the Christian Science Sunday School, where he learned many wonderful things about God and about himself, too, as a child of God. The Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, which he studied during the week, also helped him to understand God and enabled him to share with the rest of the class some new thought that had come to him in his study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

One of the first things Terry learned was that God is Love and sends only good to His children, that illness, pain, and accidents are not real and could only seem to happen to him if he believed that God was far away from him. He also learned a little more about the healing power of divine Love, that God has the power and the willingness to heal him of any kind of error that might come to him.
