Some years ago, while working as a medical nurse, I was seized with attacks of epilepsy. These attacks occurred at close intervals, and the doctors gave me the impression that I would soon pass on. I also suffered a great deal from a pain in the back which physicians said was the result of pinched nerve centers between the vertebrae. For this condition I had osteopathic treatment.

I grew steadily worse until I was in a very weakened condition, and at that time a friend asked me to try Christian Science. This I did, and my first treatment from a practitioner gave me much encouragement. I began to study the authorized literature and to attend services in a Church of Christ, Scientist.

As I continued to read and to apply what understanding of Truth I gained, and to have help from the practitioner, the attacks lessened, and treatment was discontinued. For some time thereafter the difficulty reappeared, but at long intervals. Finally, after one of the attacks, I called a practitioner. Help was given me, and in one treatment I was entirely healed of the epilepsy. In the six years since then there has been no recurrence.
