I wish to express my gratitude for the first healing in my family through Christian Science, which was of chronic alcoholism. A very dear friend told me that through my study of this Science I could help this member of my family; so I started going to church and reading daily the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly.

After some time the afflicted one began asking me questions about Science. I told my friend of this, and she replied that the seed of Truth had been planted and that it would grow. Six months later he requested treatment in Christian Science, and in a short while the healing was complete.

I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and for the loving friend who patiently explained many things about Science and lovingly led me into the way of Truth.
