I have always loved the Bible...

I have always loved the Bible, and its teachings have been a great help to me. When I was in my late twenties I often went to a Church of Christ, Scientist, with a friend who was a Christian Scientist. I loved the harmony and joy expressed there, but I did not take up the study of this religion at that time. Some years later, however, when a problem to which I could not find a solution came to me, I began to study Christian Science in earnest.

I am very grateful for the understanding of God which I gained and which my application of the truth brought to me. Class instruction has also been a source of strength and inspiration to me. Several healings which followed this step, and for which I am deeply grateful, include those of a stiff wrist of ten years' standing, a growth on my neck, ivy poisoning, chronic colds, a knee difficulty, and injuries sustained in a fall.

Through my study of Christian Science I have obtained a better understanding of true substance, and greater abundance is being manifested in my experience. Opportunities for improvement in my position as a public school teacher have come to me, and there has been much appreciation shown me by those I have served.
