Christian Science has brought numerous blessings into my life. I had the privilege of being brought up in a home where Science was practiced. I attended the Sunday School until I was twenty years of age, and I appreciate more and more what this early training did for me. I did not encounter the fears and enslaving mortal mind laws often falsely associated with parenthood.

However, I did not begin to earnestly study and apply Christian Science for myself until after I was married and felt the need of it to solve our family problems. Every opportunity to prove the power of divine Love strengthened my faith and understanding. God's dominion was proved in the working out of physical problems, in legal difficulties, and in the establishment of a harmonious home. I should like to tell of three outstanding healings which we have experienced in the last few years.

When our eldest daughter was born, due to the medical pronouncement of the doctor in charge a Caesarean operation was performed at the insistence of two members of my family. Three years later, when another child was expected, I worked earnestly for increased spiritual understanding in order to experience a normal birth. A devoted practitioner helped me, and the way unfolded for me to journey to a distant city where, removed from the solicitous fear of relatives, I could devote all my time to the study of Christian Science. Every medical law was annulled, and the birth was normal, harmonious, and painless.
