CHILDREN UNDERSTAND INFINITY

[Of Special Interest to Children]

There are two words which we use very often in Christian Science when we talk about God: infinite and infinity. Sometimes the smaller children in the Christian Science Sunday School want to know what these words mean, and they soon learn that these words when used with God show that God, good, is All, without any beginning or ending.

This is a true story about a boy named Rick who learned something about infinity. The story begins when Rick's parents took him on an automobile trip to Boston, which was a long way from his home. He became ill with car sickness, and although his mother and father worked to see the nothingness of this error as we are taught in Christian Science, the sickness continued. While in Boston, Rick was taken to The Mother Church. There he visited the nursery, and he loved every minute of it. On the trip home he was well and happy all the way.

Upon arriving home, Rick told Grandma about his healing. "I said God is Love," he told her, "and God is All, everywhere." Rick had learned enough of God's allness in his visit to The Mother Church to free him from the error of car sickness.
