Our family has received numerous blessings through radical reliance on Truth. hen our son was ten years old he became ill with what we learned later was a serious form of mastoiditis. We had help from a loving practitioner, and although during the next few days the condition remained the same, we held to the truths we are taught in Christian Science. The boy was in great pain, but he held to the truth that he was God's perfect child, that he lived in the kingdom of God, and that there was nothing that could harm him. His confidence and comprehension of the healing power of divine Love sustained us and kept us from becoming fearful.

Then one day certain very alarming symptoms appeared. That night we continued to take our wholehearted stand for Truth. By morning the child was obviously well on the way to recovery. Mortal mind, however, tried to say the boy would never hear again with that ear. By our holding to the truth that God's law is operating continuously, the deafness was broken down and his hearing was again perfectly normal. In less than two weeks' time from the beginning of the illness, the child was able to take a long journey of several hundred miles, and he enjoyed his holiday in a normal way.

For this healing and for the wonderful sense that God is with us, which this experience brought into our home, my gratitude is unbounded. When I think of all the other blessings our family has had through Christian Science, I find it hard adequately to express what I feel. I could never say "Thank you" sufficiently to the practitioner who so gently yet firmly helped us through many difficulties and temptations.
