LET THERE BE NO COMPROMISE WITH ERROR

Christian Science provides mankind with the straight and narrow but certain way of escape from materiality and its bondage, a way which leads into health, spiritual freedom, and blessedness. It does this by making plain to human comprehension the scientific fact that God is the one perfect cause, whose creation, man and the universe, is eternally and unvaryingly perfect, good, and harmonious.

Absolute truth is self-evident, self-sustaining, and undiminishable, whereas its suppositional opposite, error, dissolves when truth is correctly applied, thus proving its unreality. God being infinite Truth, the Principle and foundation of all real being, He cannot originate, be aware of, or empower evil of any sort. Nor can man, His reflection, commit, include, or justify evil, or co-operate or compromise with it. The claim that this can be so and its claimant, so-called mortal mind, are figments of the dream called mortal existence, without true origin, substance, or permanence.

"The Christlike understanding of scientific being and divine healing includes a perfect Principle and idea,—perfect God and perfect man,—as the basis of thought and demonstration." This profound statement from page 259 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy establishes the premise from which to deduce correct conclusions regarding spiritual existence and reality. Its scientific basis permits no deviating, modifying, or temporizing. It is spiritual truth, which is absolute and final.
