My first healing in Christian Science...

My first healing in Christian Science was an instantaneous one of a severe cold. I have also been healed of constipation, insomnia, blood poisoning, burns, a face rash, and a very annoying nervous habit. At a time when I was suffering from internal pains, a practitioner referred me to this Psalm (121:8) for study: "The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." While I was at the theater one evening I had a severe attack of pain, and this reference came to me. Then I thought, "What is it that He preserves?" The answer came, "Man in the image and likeness of God, not diseased flesh and blood." I was healed immediately.

I am very grateful for the healing of the belief of heredity and for a more spiritual understanding of man. When I broke my glasses ten years ago, I decided that since sight is spiritual discernment, I did not need glasses to clarify this faculty, and I have not worn them since. Twice when we were seeking an apartment we were wonderfully guided. Through my study of the ninety-first Psalm a better understanding of home was demonstrated. I am humbly grateful for improvement in traits of character, disposition, and aims. And I am unceasingly grateful to God for His goodness in sending Christ Jesus, who brought us the truth of being, and Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us how to make this truth practicable in our everyday affairs.—(Mrs.) Mabel T. B. Page, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
