Through Christian Science I was...

Through Christian Science I was let to my present position after I had realized that every one of God's ideas is in its right place and that God's law of good is ever operative for all. Though I had less experience and schooling than other applicants, I was chosen for this position; and it has enabled me to help many others, as it is in the field of group relations, in which a knowledge of Christian Science overcomes many barriers.

"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 494). This statement proved helpful when I had the opportunity to go to the United States of America. At first it seemed absolutely impossible for me to raise the necessary money for the ocean voyage; it also seemed that it would be difficult for me to leave my work for three months. In addition to these difficulties there was the problem of supply for my family during my absence.

Many ways and means were considered, but there appeared to be no answer to my problem. Not until I was willing to leave the field to God did a way open for me. Then the financial problem was solved through the help of a national students' organization, the name of which I received through a relative whom I had not seen for many years. Three months' leave of absence on half salary was granted by the office for which I worked, something that had never been done before. Truly during the preparations for this trip and during my stay in the United States it was proved to those at home and to me how good God is to all who are willing to listen to His voice.
