Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Three services today will mark the dedication day opening of the new edifice of Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Pasadena, located at 2803 East Colorado Street. They are scheduled at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 8 p.m.

The church, a contemporary-styled structure in a natural setting of live oak trees, was built in three years' time on the pay-as-you-go basis used by Christian Science churches. The $235,000 received to defray the entire cost of the building and furnishings represented free-will offerings of members and friends.
