TRUE CONCURRENCE
In all God's boundless spiritual universe, the only real universe, there is to be found neither disease nor disaster, contention nor collision, but only perpetual concord, safety, and well-being. This is a verity each one may apply practically in whatever pertains to his church, home, business, and personal affiliations and interests.
Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 114), "In divine Science, the universe, including man, is spiritual, harmonious, and eternal." What a reassuring, healing, all-inclusive statement! The dear realization that all being is spiritual and that it exists in consonant harmony, based on the Christianly scientific understanding of why this is so, brings the freedom of a happy concurrence in all one's associations and activities.
True concurrence may be said to be the coexistent harmony of each spiritual idea with its source, God, Spirit, and with all other ideas of God. Rich are the rewards which accompany the perception and utilization of this foundational fact. The unity and accord of infinite Love with its infinite manifestation, man, eternally unfolds for the seeker of Truth, bringing a growing awareness of health, peace, and security. One increasingly apprehends God as divine Principle, self-existent and timelessly manifested. He learns too that real substance is Spirit, therefore indestructible, never unintelligent or material or subject to either disturbance or impairment.
