Having been brought up in Christian Science since girlhood, I find the human language inadequate to tell of my very deep and profound appreciation for this way of life.

At the time of our family's coming into Christian Science my father was healed of pulmonary disease in the last stages. My mother then became an earnest student of this Science and an ardent worker in the branch church of the place where we lived. She did truly give her children the pearl of great price when she placed us in the Christian Science Sunday School and augmented its teachings with her own firm and loving understanding of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's works, teaching us to rely upon God for our daily needs and to make practical application of the truth according to our understanding.

In the rearing of our son, Christian Science has been my only guide, and now that he is in college, he too is making practical application of its truths. His childhood was almost free from so-called children's diseases, and when one appeared, it was quickly healed through the realization of his spiritual identity and sonship with his Father-Mother God.
