My expression of gratitude for Christian Science is long overdue. This Science has never failed me when it has been properly applied. For a period in my life I turned away from it, but discovered that there is only one way to health, happiness, and peace, and that is through an understanding of the law of God, which is Christian Science.

I have had many proofs of the power of His law through physical healings, ample supply, and wonderful protection. I am grateful for an instantaneous healing about five years ago of an eruption on the palms of my hands. The condition grew to such proportions that my husband, who was very fearful, insisted upon my consulting a doctor, who, however, was unable to diagnose the difficulty. I kept on with Christian Science treatment, but there was no relief; in fact, the condition grew worse. Three months later I received some distressing news, which necessitated my expressing gratitude to someone I felt did not warrant it. However, I earnestly prayed for a clear realization of what true gratitude is, and in a few days I was able to write the required letter. While I was writing it, I declared that to God is ascribed all glory and that there could be no room for resentment or any other lie concerning God's perfect child. I sent the letter, slept all night, and upon awakening in the morning found my hands completely healed.

The letter resulted in the bringing about of a much more harmonious relationship, as well as an opportunity to be of service. The healing has been permanent. This is only one of many proofs I have had of the presence of God.
