"THY GENTLENESS HATH MADE ME GREAT"
(II Samuel 22:36)
Greatness
lies not in stubborn human will.
It is Love's gentleness that gives us power.
The gentle summer rains refresh the earth,
And gently, too the bud becomes a flower.
So pitifully weak, so void of might.
The self-assertive, who would dominate.
The will of Love forever is to bless.
And it is Love alone that makes us great.
