Of Good Report

At Steamboat Springs, Colorado, there is maintained a summer camp for girls who are given instruction in classic dancing. In the summer of 1950 a director of the camp, at the opening of the camping season, informed the girls that it would be their privilege to attend in a body the Sunday School of any of the churches in the community on the first Sunday. Although none of the girls were Christian Scientists, they requested that they be permitted to attend the Sunday School of the Christian Science Society.

This they did, and the society was able to recruit a sufficient number of its members to take care of the large number of visitors. Quite a few of the girls had never heard of Christian Science before, and so the experience was an entirely new one to them.

During the remainder of the camping season, the girls were permitted to attend the church of their choice. As the season closed they were again invited to attend in a body the Sunday School of one of the Steamboat Springs churches. Because of the very happy experience they had had in the Christian Science Society at the beginning of the season, they elected again to attend the Sunday School of that church on their last Sunday in camp.
