I am grateful because the study of Christian Science has enabled me to forgive. When I began this study, I met with opposition; and when I spoke about this to a practitioner, she told me that I must see my fellow man as actually the image and likeness of God. I endeavored daily to follow this instruction, and I found that there were quite a few things in my own thinking which needed to be corrected.

However, the opposition continued, but I made every day an opportunity to live the life of a Christian Scientist. Later on I had the wonderful privilege of class instruction, and I gained confidence that "with God all things are possible" (Mark 10:27).

One day as I was thinking of Paul's gratitude, I searched my thinking to see whether I could be grateful also, and I found that I could. From that day harmony and peace came to our home such as I had never known before.
