LETTERS TO THE PRESS FROM CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Liverpool Echo

The Echo reported a clergyman as writing in his current Review that the effort of Christian Science to restore spiritual healing is a serious one. Then he continued that Mary Baker Eddy's interpretation of the Bible is a distortion of the true message of Holy Scripture.

By a vast and increasing multitude of grateful men and women all over the world Christian Science is regarded not so much as an effort to restore spiritual healing as the actual restoration of that healing. They have personally experienced the healing of disease and the overcoming of sin through the ministrations of Christian Science, and that in most cases is why they are now Christian Scientists.
