A newspaper editor, who later became a subscriber to The Christian Science Monitor in exchange for advertising, remarked during a conversation with this Committee, "You know, it's a wonderful idea, that there is only one Mind." This editor also said he owed it to the Monitor to let the public know where the Edmund Stevens series of articles on Russia could be read, and he published in a column which he writes himself that this most instructive series of articles could be read at the Edinburgh Public Library and at Christian Science Reading Rooms, and he gave the addresses and the hours of the local Reading Rooms.
