ALONE?
Alone
in daily work
At morning, noon, and night?
That is the carnal urge,
Thus banishing the light.
Truth remains forever
Untouched, unchanged in power,
And brings fond recollections
To fill each day and hour.
Each scene is bright and joyous:
Love's angels all ring true.
The sweet, immortal friendship
Is dear, as first we knew.
There is no separation,
No Truth in error's dream.
All joyous thoughts continue,
An everlasting stream.
