It is with profound gratitude that I can testify that through the study of Christian Science I am proving in my experience the following Bible passage to be true (Mal. 3:10): "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Though an earnest student of the Bible previous to being introduced to Christian Science, I had a great longing to understand God better. Through difficult circumstances, which included the passing on of a loved one, unemployment, lack, dissatisfaction, and general depression, I began the study of Christian Science in search of something that would bring me a measure of happiness and peace.

As I began to understand God's infinite goodness and love and my relationship to Him, I experienced more happiness. When I learned that my employment is to be about my Father's business and began demonstrating this truth, permanent employment opened up for me in work for which I was trained, and several years later the opportunity for advancement unfolded, bringing not only a better income, but work that provided a wider field of experience.
